25-year-old butcher and chef Nicolette Kiss from Hungary suffered from polycystic ovary syndrome and digestive problems. She went to the doctor to find a suitable diet. The diet that the doctor recommended to her assumed the use of 160 grams of carbohydrates per day.

Such a diet did not help the woman get rid of her health problems, and the Hungarian woman decided to switch to raw meat. She claims she has been doing great since then. As a rule, a woman eats twice a day: she skips breakfast. Kiss sometimes eats fruits and vegetables if she wants something sweet or flavorful. “I eat raw onions and garlic if I want more flavor, and blueberries, raspberries and strawberries if I want something sweet,” she said.

The woman's husband, 27-year-old trucker Roland Kiss, supports her, although he does not eat raw meat himself. “However, he eats a lot of the steaks that I cook for him. What man would refuse to eat steaks every day? ” – stressed the Hungarian.

To satisfy her nutritional needs, a woman spends about 70 euros (5.7 thousand rubles) a week on fresh raw meat. She buys it from small suppliers in her town.

Hungerka finds raw meat much easier to digest. A woman eats various types of meat products: liver, heart, brains. What Kiss loves the most is brisket that has been aged for two to four weeks.

“In general, I like fatty meats, and I always choose grass-fed organic meat, because it tastes better,” the woman said. Despite traditional beliefs that such a diet is unhealthy, Nicolette is not worried about the potential risk of food poisoning from eating raw meat.

The woman said that it is very difficult to describe the taste of raw meat to those who do not eat it. “I’m asked about this all the time, and it’s difficult to answer, as different parts of the same animal can taste differently depending on the animal's diet, gender, age and how it was treated. Raw meat tastes sweet and milky if the cow is grass-fed, and grain-fed cows taste like metal, ”Kiss explained.

The Hungarian does not use spices to preserve the natural flavor of the meat. “At first I tried to make raw meat taste like cooked meat. I used herbs and various sauces. Now I occasionally use salt and pepper, because meat has its own unique taste, “- explained the Hungarian.

She noted that some of her friends are terrified of such a diet. In addition, she faced negativity on the Internet. But close friends and family are always on her side.
