Vilfand predicted unfavorable weather in most of Russia
Scientific director of the Hydrometeorological Center of Russia Roman Vilfand predicted unfavorable weather in a number of Russian regions with heavy rainfall and wind. TASS writes about this.
According to him, from Thursday, November 18, bad weather is expected on the Black Sea coast – in the mountains forecasters promise winds of up to 28 meters per second, in Sochi and Tuapse they predict showers. By Saturday, November 20, the same weather will come in the Tambov, Belgorod, Voronezh and Lipetsk regions, in Tatarstan and Bashkortostan.
Residents of a number of regions of the Siberian Federal District – in particular, in the Altai Territory, Khakassia and the Altai Republic – Vilfand promised a blizzard and strong winds with a speed of 15 to 28 meters per second.
In the Volga and Central districts, forecasters promise sleet, blizzard, wind and ice.
Earlier, Vilfand said, that frequent thaws are expected in Russia this winter. At the same time, in the European territory of Russia, temperatures are predicted to be around and slightly above normal.
