The Minister noted that, according to the new bill, catering enterprises will continue to work. “Whether in this case the flow of visitors is reduced for someone depends strongly on the regional policy: how they do it, how they introduce it and how they implement it,” Manturov said and added that most enterprises are guided by a pragmatic approach and choose to work with a QR code. than not working at all for a while.
Manturov emphasized that network companies feel more confident, in contrast to individual entrepreneurs, who have a harder time. The minister suggested that regional and federal authorities support small and medium-sized businesses. Among the possible measures Manturov called the issuance of loans.
Earlier in November it became known that Russia is going to introduce QR codes for travel by transport, as well as for visiting public places. On November 15, State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin announced that the bill would be sent for consideration to the Russian regions, the Public Chamber, the Accounts Chamber and the Federation Council until December 14 inclusive. According to Anna Popova, the chief sanitary doctor of Russia, the issue of issuing QR codes to Russians with antibodies is being discussed by the government.
