Ambassador Poklonskaya said that the deputies should live the life of ordinary people
ordinary people, so that they themselves feel the results of the laws they have adopted. This was stated by the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Cape Verde Natalya Poklonskaya in an interview with “Arguments and Facts.” According to Poklonskaya, they could refuse privileges in the form of special statuses, high salaries and free travel.
“I respect the work of the deputies and in no way want to question it. But such an experiment would lead people to perceive the work of parliament differently. And the parliament itself would have a different attitude to what goes into life from it, “Poklonskaya said.
She noted that it becomes difficult for people who remain in the same positions for years to develop, therefore such an initiative will help “plunge into ordinary life” and see the result of their activities.
Poklonskaya served as deputy chairman of the State Duma committee on international affairs. On October 13, she was appointed Ambassador to Cape Verde. In response, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that Kiev would seek her extradition.
