Nutritionist Kushnir: Mandarins can harm people with digestive problems
Mandarins have many health benefits, but they are dangerous for some people. Those who suffer from diseases of the digestive system, and children under two years old, it is better to abstain from them. RIA Novosti was warned about this by Natalia Kushnir, a nutritionist and fitness trainer.
The expert advised not to lean on these fruits for people with gastritis, colitis, peptic ulcer disease. They can also be harmful for problems with the pancreas and gallbladder.
“Mandarins are rich in vitamins B, P, K, D, contain minerals, calcium, magnesium and potassium. It is also a great antidepressant. Not only the taste, but also the color, aroma evoke associations with the holiday, ”the specialist noted. Kushnir recalled that citrus fruits often cause an allergic reaction – you should not overeat them during the holidays.
Earlier, nutritionist Mikhail Ginzburg said that food rich in vitamin D would help to effectively recover from COVID-19. According to the expert, sea fish, such as mackerel and herring, are primarily rich in vitamin D. He noted that the diet should contain foods that have anti-inflammatory effects: bread, cereals, nuts and dairy products.
