The leader of the PND Bahceli presented Erdogan with a map of the “Turkish World”, including the Russian regions 
Leader of the Party of the Nationalist Movement (PND) presented to Turkish President Tayyip Erdogan a map of the “Turkic World”, which included about 20 Russian regions. A photo of two politicians with a gift was published on the party's official Facebook page.
According to Bahcheli, the Turkish World includes the southern regions of Russia – Crimea, Kuban, Rostov Oblast and the republics of the North Caucasus – as well as Eastern Siberia.
Several other countries are also shown on the map. In particular, the territories of Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan are marked in red. Parts of the Balkans and Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region in northwest China are colored orange and yellow.
At the same time, neither Erdogan nor Bahcheli made any statements regarding the map.
In July, the head of the regional national-cultural autonomy of the Crimean Tatars, Eyvaz Umerov, called on Turkey to be consistent in its policy and recognize Crimea as part of Russia.
