During the conversation, Putin and Pashinyan paid attention to the situation that developed after a number of incidents between Armenia and Azerbaijan. “It was agreed to continue contacts in this regard,” the press service specified.

Later, Pashinyan revealed the details of his conversation with Vladimir Putin. According to the statement of the Armenian Cabinet of Ministers, the prime minister of the country, in an interview with Putin, presented the latest development of events on the border of the two countries. He stressed that the actions of the Azerbaijani military are aggression against the sovereign territory of Armenia. The prime minister also noted the extreme importance of the Armenian-Russian partnership in the current conditions. In addition, at the meeting, Pashinyan reaffirmed Yerevan's commitment to the trilateral statements of November 9, 2020 and January 11, 2021.
