An exhibition of children's drawings dedicated to Peter I will be held in Transbaikalia

An exhibition of children's drawings dedicated to Peter the Great will be held in Transbaikalia “The beauty of God's world.” This year, the theme was the era of the reign of Peter I through the eyes of children, according to the website of the ministry of culture of the region.

The show was the result of the competition of the same name, which took place as part of the regional stage of the XXX International Christmas educational readings dedicated to the 350th anniversary of the birth Emperor Peter I.

“The drawings reflect the children's vision of the first emperor of Russia, his contribution to the history of Russia, its triumphs. At the exhibition, the visitor will see “through the eyes of children” the childhood and youth of Peter I, his reformist view, the troubling time of his reign, the Battle of Poltava, the Azov campaign and the sights of St. Petersburg, “the museum said.

The exhibition will run until December 19.

Earlier it was reported that the World Children's Folkloriad will be held for the first time in Bashkortostan in 2024. The event will be timed to coincide with the 450th anniversary of the capital of the Republic of Ufa.
