According to the head of the city, unlike the zoo, animals in the biopark are almost in their natural habitat. He also said that for the construction it is necessary to develop infrastructure – to create additional enclosures, equip a scientific and rehabilitation base.

In addition, it is planned to create a tourist complex on the territory with a hotel, a health center, a dolphinarium, an oceanarium, ethnic villages and a hippodrome … The estimated cost of the project is 12.6 billion rubles.

Earlier in November, in the Bryansk reserve, we met a rare bird – the long-tailed owl. The last time this species, listed in the Red Book of the Bryansk Region, was seen in the reserve in 1998. Moreover, in neighboring regions, such birds are considered common, they are not protected.
