The sixth round of the competition of unusual folk art objects of Russia has begun

The popular vote of the sixth stage of the “Tutu Art” competition is open from November 16 to 22

folk art objects of the country “Tutu Art” – voting is open until 22:00 Moscow time on November 22 on the official website. This is stated in the press release of the online service “Tutu.ru”, received by the editorial office of “Lenta.ru”.

Eight participants from different regions of Russia will fight for the victory in the next stage of the competition. Among them are a whale with words (the village of Novoye Chaplino, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug), a steel eagle (Paratunka, Kamchatka Territory), the kingdom of soft toys (Nevelsk, Sakhalin Region), a mammoth made of iron (Magadan), a fabulous fence (Bolshoi Kamen, Primorsky Territory), St. Basil's Cathedral and the Kremlin at the dacha (Khabarovsk), a zoo made of cement (Ptichnik village, Jewish Autonomous Region) and patterns made of plastic waste (Sychevka village, Amur Region).

A total of 85 unusual folk art objects – the list was compiled on the basis of the options proposed by the Tutu community in social networks, as well as the expert council of the competition.

Earlier in November, the organizers of Tutu Art announced the winner of the fifth stage of the competition – they were hares carved from stone -antivandals, which are located in the Republic of Karelia. The art object overtook its rivals, gaining 47.7 percent of the vote. The second place went to a dinosaur from spare parts in the Pskov region.
