Research by Zarplati.ru: almost half of Russians work worse with the arrival of cold weather
Almost half of Russians admitted that they work worse with cold weather. This is stated in the report of the Research Center of the service “Zarplata.ru”, RIA Novosti reports.
“The working capacity of Russians changes with the onset of the cold season – working capacity decreases, it becomes more difficult to get up in the morning, there is a sluggishness and lack of energy.” , – says the study. It is also indicated that 43 percent of Russians begin to work poorly with the arrival of winter.
Most of the respondents note faster fatigue at sub-zero temperatures (39 percent), sleepiness (29 percent), the inability to wake up in the morning due to darkness (15 percent), apathy due to a long lack of sun (11 percent), exacerbation of depression (6 percent).
Russians also said that to combat poor performance they begin to drink vitamins (35 percent), increase coffee consumption (33 percent), intensify their sports activities (13 percent), try to walk more (10 percent) or relax (9 percent).
In addition, 31 percent of respondents admitted that they would like to work completely remotely in winter. 25 percent would like the working day to start later, and 17 percent of the respondents would like to be able to relax during the working day.
Earlier, Russians named the most boring professions. Among them were the professions of a security guard, an accountant and a salesman. Among other boring professions, Russians listed programmers, lawyers, usheters, cloakroom attendants, drivers, porters, janitors, concierges, hairdressers, bank workers, warehouse employees and officials.
