Sputnik V vaccine and More than 100 million people have been vaccinated outside of Russia with the one-component drug “Sputnik Light”. This was stated by the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) Kirill Dmitriev in an interview with Bloomberg, excerpts from which are given in the vaccine Telegram channel.
According to him, 15 percent of people with average income outside Russia, the United States, Europe, China received the Russian vaccine. “We have provided Sputnik to more than 100 million people outside the Russian Federation,” he said.
Dmitriev also noted that the delivery of vaccines is on schedule. “We expect to be able to occupy 15-20 percent of the market in middle-income countries,” said the head of the RDIF, stressing that data on the use of the Russian vaccine in a number of countries demonstrate that Sputnik V is one of the safest vaccines. p>
In October, the head of the RDIF announced that the creators of the Sputnik V vaccine are conducting joint research with Pfizer developers in two countries. He also expressed confidence that this combination will be successful and will cope not only with the “delta” strain, but also with future mutations of the coronavirus infection.
