Senator Tsekov considered Putin's decree for the LPR and DPR a chance to provide real assistance to the republics 
Decree of the President of Russia Vladimir Putin for the people of the Luhansk and Donetsk republics (LPR and DPR) will allow them to provide real assistance and use their economic potential. This is how he was assessed by a member of the Federation Council, Senator from Crimea Sergei Tsekov in an interview with News.ru.
According to him, the admission of goods from the LPR and DPR to state purchases in Russia can increase the salaries of employees of relevant enterprises in Donbass. “This is real assistance to the republics with which Ukraine is at war, and not only Ukraine, but in fact the United States and a number of European countries,” Tsekov emphasized.
The LPR and DPR are able to provide some of Russia's needs in public procurement, for example , in coal and metal, the senator specified. In addition, the supply of products for the needs of the country outside its borders is a normal practice – and Russia cooperates with Europe, Asia, the United States and even with Ukraine, a member of the Federation Council concluded.
On November 15, Vladimir Putin instructed to ensure equal conditions for access of goods from the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk People's Republics to participation in public procurement. According to the decree of the head of state, goods produced in Donbass must be admitted to state purchases on a par with Russian ones.
