On November 21, Ufa will host a casting for the Snow Maidens competition “Karkhylyukai – 2021”

The organizers indicated that both girls 7-10 years old and older girls aged 18-30 years old can take part in the competition. The name of the winner of the competition will be announced in the winter at the State Concert Hall “Bashkortostan”. The Bashkir Snow Maiden, who succeeds in winning the Grand Prix, will receive a cash prize of 300 thousand rubles, and those who won the first three places will receive an award in the form of 50, 30 and 20 thousand rubles. The rest of the finalists are promised to be awarded valuable prizes.
Speaking about the competition, the director of the competition, Aigul Utyaganova, noted that the show, which will be held in Ufa, was conceived as a New Year's phantasmagoria about cherished dreams. “In the project of the competition, the participants will be helped by mentors – good fairies, fabulous gnomes will supervise the course of preparation, and generous Santa Clauses will give magical gifts. Earlier it became known that the World Children's Folkloriad will be held for the first time in the capital of Bashkortostan in 2024, when Ufa will celebrate its 450th anniversary.
