A Russian traveled to Egypt using the Fortuna system and talked about the advantages and disadvantages of such a vacation. The review shared by the man was published by the portal “Subtleties of Tourism”.
According to the rules of the system, the traveler pre-selects the dates of the trip, resort, type of food, “star rating” of the hotel and buys a ticket at a reduced price. However, it is impossible to find out which hotel he will be accommodated in. The author of the article took advantage of this opportunity – according to “Fortune” he paid 65 thousand rubles for a seven-day tour (10 thousand cheaper than on usual terms) for two and won in the lottery accommodation in a five-star hotel on the first coastline in Marsa Alam.
According to him, despite the uncertainty, the vacation was excellent. He was especially impressed by the coral reef with a large number of turtles. The man also admitted that he had fulfilled an old dream – he saw live dolphins.
“When they showed up, I think I began to scream with joy and try to share this news with everyone that I scared all the rescuers on the shore,” he recalled.
Nevertheless, the Russian noted some disadvantages of the hotel. First of all, he did not like the fact that the beach “categorically” did not have enough sun loungers for all guests – he had to take seats at six in the morning. He was also dissatisfied with the system of changing beach towels – they were given out for a week, and when they tried to change them earlier, the employees asked for a tip.

Earlier in October, a Russian tourist named the most suitable time to travel to Egypt. The most successful period for a trip to the popular Egyptian resorts, in her opinion, is the period from October to mid-December.
