Polish Border Guard: we are ready to use weapons against migrants if necessary

“We go out on duty with military weapons. We are a power structure, we are undergoing training in order to use this weapon, if necessary, ”said a representative of the Border Guard. At the same time, she stressed that the border guards will try to do everything possible to avoid using weapons.
Earlier it became known that one of the Polish police officers was seriously wounded on the Polish-Belarusian border. According to preliminary data, the security officer's skull was broken with an unknown object thrown at him. The policeman received first aid, his condition has not been reported.
Since the beginning of November, the migration crisis has worsened on the Polish-Belarusian border. Thousands of migrants gathered at the border and tried to cross over to Poland. The West blamed the current situation on the official Minsk. The EU announced its intention to impose new sanctions against Belarus amid the crisis.
