According to Khusnullin, the final results of the samples will be received in 2022. “There is good news: water has been found under the Sea of Azov. Several layers have been found. Some of the water is mixed with mineralized salt, but we already have the last samples – drinking water, ”said the Deputy Prime Minister.
The Russian hydrologist and scientific director of the Institute of Water problems of RAS Victor Danilov-Danilyan. He called the venture senseless, believing that it would solve the problem only for a short time.
Marat Khusnullin spoke about the start of water production from a well under the Sea of Azov in July 2021. The samples were found at a depth of 100 meters and sent for examination. The Deputy Prime Minister assured that in this way the problem of water shortage on the peninsula will be solved.
