A new nature reserve will appear in the Krasnoyarsk Territory

The Government of the Krasnoyarsk Territory supported at the meeting a draft resolution on the creation of a specially protected natural area (SPNA) ” Lake Vivi “. This was reported on the website of the regional ministry of ecology and rational nature management.

The administration of the Evenki municipal district proposed to create a protected area, its area will be 200 thousand hectares. According to Pavel Borzykh, the head of the regional Ministry of Ecology, the territory is attractive for tourists, but often unorganized hikes are made there, which can harm nature.

The largest freshwater lake of the Evenk region – Vivi – is located on the territory of the future SPNA. There are upland game habitats, wild reindeer migration routes and elk wintering grounds. In addition, 40 species of fish spawn on the lake and in its tributaries.

Within the boundaries of the protected areas, activities that may harm natural complexes will be prohibited, but recreational ones will be allowed. The traditional activities of the indigenous small-numbered peoples of the North will also remain there.

Earlier it was reported that in Bashkiria they wanted to build glampings in the form of yurts in places popular with tourists. The first objects of this type may appear in the Burzyansky, Belokataysky and Zilairsky regions of the republic. They are planned to be built in nature. The authors of the idea pointed out that during the construction of glamping sites, the soil is not affected, so they can be placed even in nature reserves.
