RIA Novosti: two thousand migrants settled at the checkpoint between Belarus and Poland

According to the interlocutor of the agency, they are located right on the line of the Polish-Belarusian border. Some of the migrants are right at the checkpoint, some have remained at a distance.
The source said that the situation at the border is generally calm. There was no breakthrough through the Polish barriers, as well as aggressive actions on the part of migrants.
Earlier, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Poland said that a large group of migrants gathered from the Belarusian side at the border crossing, probably preparing to storm the border. It is noted that illegal immigrants crowd at the border in the area of the Polish city of Kuznica. “Border guards, police and soldiers are ready,” the authorities emphasized.
The migration crisis on the border of Belarus and the European Union began at the end of May. Large groups of illegal migrants from Africa and the Middle East began to storm the borders of Lithuania, Poland and Latvia in the hope of obtaining asylum in the European Union. It is assumed that the Belarusian authorities use their national tour operator Tsentrkurort to transport migrants to the EU borders and make money on it.
On November 8, several thousand people approached Poland from the Belarusian side. Migrants do not leave the border zone; some have tried to enter Poland by breaking the barbed wire fence.
