Two Russian police officers falsified cases for the sake of indicators

SK of Transbaikalia: two police officers were sentenced to 15 years for falsification for the sake of indicators regime, each for falsifying cases for the sake of improving production indicators. This was reported on the website of the regional SU of the Investigative Committee of Russia.

According to the ministry, in 2020, operatives 33-year-old Batotsyren Damdinzhapov and 26-year-old Chimit Mitupov “entered into a criminal conspiracy to improve the performance of detecting crimes in the area of ​​drug trafficking.” The police handed over 100 grams of cannabis to a resident of the village of Zabaikalsk through their friend, and then seized it under the guise of criminals. A criminal case was opened against the man who knew nothing about the conspiracy.

In addition, the operatives sent to the justice of the peace forged materials about the allegedly revealed administrative offense, on the basis of which an administrative punishment followed. The police also made another attempt to “fight” drug trafficking, but it was stopped by officers of the Federal Security Service (FSB).

At the stage of the preliminary investigation, the police officers were fired and taken into custody. The court found them guilty under criminal articles of abuse of office, illegal sale of drugs and falsification of evidence. Each was sentenced to 15 years in prison in a maximum security penal colony.

Earlier in Moscow, a court detained until December 30, three employees of the drug control department of the Internal Affairs Directorate for the Troitsky and Novomoskovsky administrative areas, who confiscated 1.3 million from the Russian rubles, calling the money counterfeit. According to the investigation, a resident of the Moscow region was driving to buy building materials and stopped by the forest, where the police noticed him. During the search, they found a large sum of money from the Russian and, calling the banknotes counterfeit, took them, allegedly for examination.
