Pharmacologist Kondrakhin: COVID-19 will not be able to leave the population completely 
Physician, clinical pharmacologist Andrei Kondrakhin, in a conversation with Lenta.ru, named the most likely scenario for the development of coronavirus. In his opinion, COVID-19 will never be able to leave the population completely – this is evidenced by its certain properties, nevertheless, the aggression of the virus will gradually subside, and it will move to the level of the usual flu. The expert added that anti-vaccines and covid dissidents will not allow the coronavirus to disappear in many respects.
Earlier, a specialist in especially dangerous infections, immunologist Vladislav Zhemchugov revealed three scenarios for the development of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. “The first option is the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus can find a new host with whom an“ immune consensus ”will be reached. The second option is that it can disappear, like SARS and MERS. The third option, which is the worst for humanity, is that it will parasitize on humans all the time, like the second influenza virus, ”said Zhemchugov.

Finding the final host, according to Kondrakhin, the virus will not work – a person is always free from it in one way or another, COVID-19 does not acquire a chronic form.
“Nevertheless, I can agree that the coronavirus will not go anywhere, this is evidenced by its certain properties. But the aggression of the virus will subside, it will gradually move to the level of influenza, but foci will remain. It will not be able to disappear, because a pandemic is a disease of all mankind, and, naturally, there will be a number of people who will refuse to be vaccinated, to be treated normally, they will become the main distributors, since we see that the virus is capable of re-infecting, ”he recalled doctor.
In order to achieve a weakening of the virus as soon as possible, the doctor considers it necessary to conduct a tough campaign of isolation and vaccination – then the coronavirus will have nowhere to gain a foothold, and the pandemic will gradually decline.
