Head of Rostec Chemezov: the cost of the Aurus aircraft will be from 39 to 50 million dollars 
The Dubai Airshow International Airshow has announced the cost of the new aircraft Aurus. This is reported by RBC.
According to Chemezov, the cost of a business jet will be from 39 to 50 million dollars, depending on the configuration. He noted that “it is cheaper than, for example, Boeing,” for which a similar plane will cost “about 60-65 million dollars, depending on the configuration.” At the same time, Chemezov did not specify which model of a business jet he had in mind.
The head of Rostec also said that Russian companies and individuals are already showing interest in the aircraft. At the same time, it is too early to talk about foreign buyers, but, according to Chemezov, there will be foreign customers. “The car is unique, with a high level of comfort and a very decent flight range – more than seven thousand kilometers,” he added.
Previously, the interior equipment of the Aurus aircraft was filmed during the Dubai Airshow. There are six seats in the aircraft cabin – next to each of them you can unfold a table for eating or working. During the exhibition, it is set for meals – glasses, plates and other cutlery are on the table. There is also a TV inside the aircraft.
The Aurus Bussines Jet is based on the Sukhoi Business Jet (SBJ) – a Superjet in a VIP configuration. The SBJ presentation took place in the summer of 2021 at the MAKS air show in Zhukovsky. Then the idea came to finalize it and release the aircraft under the Aurus brand. The first show of the Aurus Bussines Jet will take place at the Dubai Airshow 2021, which will take place from 14 to 18 November. The aircraft will be parked in the Aurus parking lot together with an Ansat helicopter and a limousine.
The new aircraft has a shower cabin, high-speed internet and a built-in gangway. ABJ will be able to fly 7,200 kilometers without refueling – the distance from Moscow to Vladivostok – thanks to an additional fuel system first installed on Superjets. Now the maximum flight range of passenger Superjet 100 is from 3 to 4,6 thousand kilometers, depending on the configuration.
