Lukashenko: the situation with illegal immigrants is heating up in order to involve Russia in this conflict

According to him, the countries of the European Union (EU) see an inextricable link between Minsk and Moscow and believe that the Russian leader Vladimir Putin, together with the Belarusian authorities, deliberately provoked the migration crisis.

It is clear that this is aimed at escalating tensions, ”Lukashenka said. The Belarusian leader added that his hypothesis is confirmed by the actions of NATO in the Black Sea region.
“The Americans and NATO are behaving disgustingly in the Black Sea. The situation is especially heated for us. But we are not boys to succumb to these incomprehensible gestures, “the politician concluded.
On November 8, several thousand migrants from the Middle East approached the Polish border from the Belarusian side. They are trying to break into the territory of the European Union. Hundreds of people also gathered at the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. The West claims that Minsk deliberately organized the migration crisis as part of a “hybrid” attack. The EU is discussing the introduction of new sanctions.
