Anatoly Kinakh: the rolling blackout in Ukraine will affect not only the regions, but also Kiev 
in winter. According to the head of the Ukrainian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs Anatoly Kinakh, not only the regions, but also Kiev will be left without electricity. He told about this on the air of Channel 4, RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

Kinakh stressed that power outages should be strictly controlled, since they can affect vital enterprises such as maternity hospitals, surgical and covid departments, where patients are connected to machines artificial lung ventilation.
Earlier, the likelihood of a power outage in the Ukrainian capital was estimated by the mayor of Kiev Vitaliy Klitschko. According to the mayor, in the event of prolonged frosts, rolling blackouts are possible, which has not happened in the city for 20 years. The Kiev mayor noted that today 12 capital enterprises that produce heat and electricity are experiencing a shortage of coal and gas.
According to the Ukrainian publication Glavkom, State thermal power plants (TPPs) of the country are loaded by 10 percent, the rest (about 60 percent) are left without coal or are being repaired. The load is carried by only three units at 23 state-owned thermal power plants.
