Head of the Austrian Ministry of Health Muckstein: there will be restrictions on leaving the house at night for vaccinated

from home at night. This was announced by the head of the Austrian Ministry of Health Wolfgang Mükstein, quoted by TASS.

According to him, this is only part of the package of measures that are being discussed by the authorities. A decision on additional measures may be taken on Wednesday, November 17.

“This measure is also being discussed. Experts recommend this to me, I agree with them. There will be restrictions on leaving home at night and for vaccinated people, “the minister said.

Mükstein added that in Austria everyone is” sitting in the same boat “fighting the pandemic. Certain restrictions, he said, should help avoid a general lockdown.

Earlier, Chancellor Alexander Schallenber said that a lockdown for citizens unvaccinated from coronavirus would be introduced in Austria from November 15. People over 12 years old who have not been vaccinated against COVID-19 will only be able to leave home to shop for groceries and essentials, as well as to work and walk.
