Huawei wants to transfer licenses for its mobile phones to other manufacturers

Chinese company Huawei has found a way to circumvent US sanctions. It plans to transfer licenses for its mobile phones to other manufacturers in order to gain access to critical American technology, Bloomberg reported, citing sources.

The tech giant wants to transfer the license to manufacture smartphones to China's state-owned Postal and Telecommunications Appliance. Also, Huawei phones will start selling under the Xnova brand. Another source of the publication said that some of Huawei smartphones will be sold by telecommunications equipment manufacturer TD Tech.

At the same time, the devices will come out with the design of Huawei, and the company will receive profits from third manufacturers. Experts are confident that partnerships with other enterprises will help Huawei remain among the leading smartphone developers.

Revenue from smartphones of the Chinese company Huawei will plummet by at least $ 30-40 billion in 2021, analysts say. The United States imposed sanctions against the tech giant in May 2019. After them, Huawei was cut off from key American technologies, namely the advanced semiconductors required for its smartphones.
