Free business accelerator for women entrepreneurs Lady 007 launched in the Moscow region
The free business accelerator for existing women entrepreneurs was launched in the Moscow region on November 15. The event is being held by the All-Russian public organization “Women of Business” with the support of the Ministry of Investments, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region and the autonomous non-profit organization “Investment Development Agency of the Moscow Region”, the press service of the department reports.
“Today women entrepreneurs are busy in all spheres of business, from large industries to small companies, and make a significant contribution to the economy of the Moscow Region. In general, we estimate that about 50 percent of companies are run by women. There are many support instruments in the Moscow region, but some of them are designed specifically for women, “said Yekaterina Zinovieva, Minister of Investment, Industry and Science of the Moscow Region.
Women entrepreneurs have the opportunity to take out loans on preferential terms with a rate of 3.5 percent, and for those who implement a project in the social sphere, the rate will be 2 percent. If a woman has chosen one of the remote urban districts of the Moscow region for doing business, the loan rate for her will be only 1 percent.
During the business accelerator, the participants will be divided into groups of up to five people, in which they will participate in webinars with speakers. The program will run until December 27, based on the results of the business accelerator, the jury will select three winners. They will be able to go to the international business forum in Dubai.
