A recidivist thief got a job at a warehouse in Kemerovo and stole seeds for 870 thousand rubles packages of seeds. This is reported by the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the region.
The director of the warehouse addressed the police with a statement. He said that two pallets of seeds and two cans of coffee were missing. The total cost of the stolen was 870 thousand rubles.
As a result of operational-search measures, the employees of the Criminal Investigation Department calculated that the criminal was a 33-year-old Kemerovo resident who had previously been convicted of theft. He stole the goods during his lunch break, taking advantage of the absence of colleagues at the workplace.
The recidivist managed to sell the stolen property. The police found some of the goods and returned them to their rightful owner. The thief faces up to six years in prison.
Earlier it was reported that the prisoner, while in the Ulyanovsk colony, stole more than two million rubles from Russian women. A man convicted of robbery and “crimes against sexual inviolability” registered on dating sites, and presented himself to the interlocutors as a co-founder of a bank or a wealthy entrepreneur. In the process of communication, he asked for help with the withdrawal of money from his accounts – for this he allegedly needed to temporarily transfer two million US dollars to his interlocutor. Thus, he received the victim's personal data – full name, photo of bank cards, passport and other documents.
