The Mirror: Britain is ready to send 600 special forces to Ukraine because of Russia
Britain is ready to send about 600 special forces to the background of fears about the alleged invasion of Russia. The British edition of The Mirror writes about this with reference to sources familiar with the situation.
According to the interlocutor of the publication, the British command is currently preparing a detachment of fighters from the Special Air Service (SAS), the Special intelligence, medics, engineers, communications, as well as about 400 servicemen from the 16th Airborne Assault Brigade. It is noted that all special forces from this group have already been warned that they can be transferred to Ukraine in the very near future, and their equipment is packed.
Defense officials of the country and the head of British foreign intelligence MI6 Richard Moore told the government that Russian President Vladimir Putin poses a “clear and real” danger to Ukraine and the West.
Earlier in November, British Chief of Defense General Sir Nick Carter said that there is more tension between Russia and the West today than during the Cold War. According to him, this could lead to war due to “accident”.
