In the Chinese city of Heihe, which is located in the Heilongjiang province on the border with Russia , coronavirus was found on goods imported from the Russian Federation. This was reported by the city's Center for Disease Control and Prevention, TASS reports.

The document, which was published in the official account of the center on the WeChat social network, indicates that the infection was detected on the outside of the packaging of four types of Russian products: chocolate wafers KONTI brand, KONTI biscuits, KONTI melon flavored jelly candies and milk powder. The exact number of contaminated packages has not been reported.

Authorities have urged citizens who have the products to disinfect the goods, seal them and report them to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention. It is noted that in the places of sale of products, the test for coronavirus showed a negative result.

On October 27, a case of new coronavirus pneumonia was confirmed in Heihe. It soon became clear that three more local residents were asymptomatic carriers of the virus. Later it became known that the city was sent to strict quarantine due to new recorded cases of coronavirus.
