A Russian spent 17 thousand rubles a month on food in Crimea and complained about prices
products in a local store for a thousand rubles and compared prices with those in the capital. He told about his experience in his personal blog on the Yandex.Zen platform.
According to the man, he buys groceries in a chain supermarket as needed, about once every two days. In just a month of his life in Crimea, he spent about 17 thousand rubles on food. The average check in the store is about a thousand rubles – it includes a pack of cookies and biscuits, half a kilo of apples, bananas and pears, 300 grams of tomato, zucchini, chocolate bar, pastry, 200 grams of cheese, 250 grams of yogurt, cottage cheese and chewing gum.
“To be honest, already in the first weeks of my stay, I felt that I was leaving much more in a local grocery store than in Nizhny Novgorod, where I live and spend 12 to 14 thousand rubles a month on food,” he complained about Russian prices.
The tourist shared the details of another purchase, the total amount of which was 978 rubles. So, he bought 400 grams of fish, a bar of chocolate, a pack of cookies, 200 grams of peanuts, 200 grams of yogurt and cottage cheese, kefir, bananas, tomatoes, plums and rice.
“That's why I got the feeling that that for the village of Alupka, and even more so in the off-season, prices are very similar to those in the capital, “the traveler explained.
Earlier in November, the same Russian tourist spoke about the costs of a month of living in Crimea during the off-season. The man noted that he decided to go to rest on the peninsula in the fall in order to improve his health. So, the most expensive for him was housing – renting a studio in the garage was 20 thousand rubles.
