She announced this on her Facebook page.
“The Memorial is now being taken away from me, the memory of those convicted and executed, of those thrown under a truck and starving to death, of those frozen in trucks on the way from camp to camp, about those tortured by torture in the Lubyanka and Kolyma “, – said the writer.
Petrushevskaya also added that she is refusing the State Prize, as she was presented with the badge by Russian President Vladimir Putin. According to her, the president allegedly did not read her play dedicated to those who did not return from the camps.
