Ministry of Defense of Ukraine: the Neptune complex will be placed on the southern border in the near future 
border of the country. This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Defense Alexei Reznikov, his words are quoted on the agency's website.
Reznikov noted that the Neptune is already in service with the Ukrainian Naval Forces. According to the minister, he intends to do everything possible so that in the near future the complex takes up combat duty to protect the southern borders.
In addition, the head of the department announced active military cooperation with the United States, which transferred two patrol boats of the type Island, and Turkey, which recently supplied Ukraine with the first unmanned complex Bayraktar. For the needs of the Ukrainian fleet, the republic also began construction of the main corvette of the ADA type.
Among other things, the Minister of Defense promised to give appropriate instructions to speed up the construction of a naval base in Berdyansk.
“В This year, a 1.4-hectare plot of land has already been allocated, where a barracks complex is being built for 200 servicemen of a separate battalion of the Marine Corps. The construction of a medical center, a sports complex and a hostel for families of military personnel is envisaged. So, he compared Ukraine's accession to NATO with the West's declaration of war on Russia, because of which the state will not be taken into the alliance.
