Details of the death of a passenger in the Moscow metro disclosed

According to the department, one of the passengers jumped on the tracks in front of an approaching train. At the same time, at the time of the jump, another man tried to stop him. “He fell under a train and died, and the survivor fled the scene,” the department said.

They added that in the near future the actions of the perpetrator of the incident will be considered by the court. In particular, he will establish whether the man jumped off the platform on purpose. “If the court decides that this happened intentionally, it will be held liable in accordance with the law, and it will also be obliged to compensate for the damage and Mosmetro,” the Department of Transport explained.

Earlier on November 13, it was reported that the Moscow metro there was a failure due to two passengers falling onto the rails at once. It was noted that there was no movement from the Planernaya station to the Spartak station. In the opposite direction, trains followed at an increased interval.
