Next week, the World Health Organization ( WHO) plans to hold a meeting on the Russian vaccine against COVID-19 “Sputnik V”. This was announced at a briefing by the Assistant Director General of the organization, Marianjela Simao, reports TASS.
“We are in dialogue with the applicant and the Russian government. We still need to get a complete dossier on Sputnik V, ”Simao said. She noted that WHO “has questions on inspection at the N.F. Gamaleya National Research Center for Epidemiology and Microbiology, on production inspection.”
