In the Vladimir region, 60 activists were trained at the “School of Heritage Volunteers” … This was reported on the website of the city administration.
The project was initiated by the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments with the support of the Russian Ministry of Culture. 60 activists of the regional volunteer center “Culture Volunteers”, operating on the basis of the regional library for children and youth, took part in the events of the School. Classes were held in the scientific restoration center of the Vladimir-Suzdal Museum-Reserve according to the basic and advanced training programs.
So, 40 young people became participants in the main program, which included involvement in volunteer activities to preserve historical monuments and culture, the formation of an idea of the volunteer movement in the field of preservation of cultural heritage and master classes on the restoration of objects made of wood, stone and metal. At the same time, 20 volunteers who successfully completed training in 2020 became participants in an in-depth program.
Earlier in November, it was reported that schoolchildren of the Vladimir region helped volunteers work with stray dogs. Caring people in the Kameshkovsky district created a volunteer community on VKontakte called “4 paws”. In the signature of one of the latest publications on the community wall, the volunteers thanked the students of the Kameshkovsk school number 1.
