New COVID-19 Vaccination Certificates Revealed

From February 1, vaccination certificates will contain vaccination and disease data

COVID-19 vaccination certificates from February 1, 2022 will contain data on vaccination, past illness or medical recusal. According to the Russian government, the documents issued earlier will be updated automatically.

Corresponding changes are planned to be made to the federal law “On the sanitary and epidemiological welfare of the population.” The entrance on medical documents will have to be entered by the organizers of mass events and trade objects. An exception will be pharmacies, grocery stores and businesses selling essential goods.

Citizens who are not registered on the portal of public services or who live in remote villages and villages will be able to receive an issue from an electronic certificate at the MFC. Citizens without a document confirming vaccination can visit public places if they have a negative PCR test.

Earlier it was reported that the government proposed to make it compulsory throughout Russia to present QR codes by passengers of trains and planes, as well as when visiting public places.
