More than 400 companies from 39 countries operate in the Moscow Region. At the same time, Turkey is one of the stable partners of the Moscow region: businessmen from this country have invested over 30 billion rubles in the region since 2004 and have created more than 1,300 jobs. “Turkey is an old partner of the Moscow region. The first large projects of Turkish investors appeared in the Moscow region back in 2004. During this time, with the participation of Turkish capital, 15 companies have appeared in our region, where more than 1,300 jobs have been created. The total investment in the Moscow region amounted to more than 30 billion rubles. As for the foreign trade turnover of the Moscow region with Turkey, according to the results of the first half of 2021, it amounted to USD 386.6 million, of which USD 109 million is the export of goods from the Moscow region and USD 277 million – imports, “said Ekaterina, head of the regional Ministry of Investments. The Moscow Region Government is in constant dialogue with foreign investors. For example, last month Mininvest held a meeting with Hasan Gyurses, Vice President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Turkish city of Bursa. During the meeting, the parties discussed the possibility of increasing export deliveries of products from the Moscow region to Turkey, organizing business missions of Turkish partners to the special economic zone “Dubna” near Moscow and the industrial park “Esipovo”.
