Konstantin Ivlev came to the Irkutsk region within the framework of the RDSH project “Chef at school”
Russian chef Konstantin Ivlev, known for “On Knives” on the Friday! TV channel, came to the Irkutsk Region to conduct a master class on cooking dishes for children and school cooks. This was reported on the website of the regional government. The recording of the event appeared on YouTube.
The Russian Schoolchildren Movement (RDS), as part of the “Chef at School” project, invited a specialist to evaluate the nutrition of local schoolchildren. Ivlev also gave advice and recommendations to children, adolescents and catering workers on how to properly prepare certain dishes.
At the master class, the chef also demonstrated how to make a mini-kulebyaku with dorado and spinach. “Look what a play of colors!” – said Ivlev and showed the finished dish in a section. He added that “there is nothing ingenious in cooking,” but even such simple dishes can be made for restaurant.
In March, as part of the same project, Ivlev came to the Murmansk region. He talked to schoolchildren, tasted local food and developed a new menu, traditional for the northern regions of the country. It also includes venison dishes.
Earlier, Russian brand chef Andrey Savenkov named the most interesting dishes of Crimea. He praised the local wines and preferred the local pasties and lamb dishes.
