accompanied by a retinue of more than 250 people and 30 poodles. The Independent reports.

The 69-year-old monarch arrived in Munich by private jet on Monday, November 8. The king stayed at the airport hotel for 11 days and rented the entire fourth floor of the building. Photographers spotted Rama X, dressed in a brown and orange suit, on his way to the pool.

The king was also accused of being absent from the country in April and May 2020. Maha X waited out the COVID-19 pandemic with his mistresses at the four-star German Grand Hotel Sonnenbichl. As soon as the news of his trip hit social networks, the outraged Thais introduced a hashtag on Twitter, which translated from Thai means “Why do we need a king?” his favorite Sininat Wongwajirapakdi. According to Bild, this is an unprecedented event in the history of the Thai monarchy.
