In the Lipetsk region, additional funds were allocated for the social sphere and medicine

A session of the Lipetsk Regional Council of Deputies was held. At the suggestion of the head of the region Igor Artamonov, amendments were made to the law “On the regional budget for 2021 and for the planning period of 2022 and 2023”.

Vyacheslav Scheglevatykh, Deputy Head of the Lipetsk Region Administration – Head of the Finance Department, noted that the regional budget for 10 months of 2021 had a surplus, which made it possible to allocate an additional 8.8 billion rubles to the social sphere and financially help local governments.

< p> 700 million rubles have been allocated to the healthcare sector, through which they will purchase tests for COVID, medicines for beneficiaries and treat patients with coronavirus infection.

In addition, they organize the work of covid hospitals in Dankovsky, Usmansky and Terbunsky districts. And workers of mobile ambulance teams and medical workers involved in vaccination of the population will receive incentive payments. Also, equipment will be purchased and repairs will be made in health care institutions.

An additional 170 million rubles have been allocated to health care institutions of the region to pay off debts for medicines, food, utilities.

“In general, spending on health care increased during the year compared to the original plan by 3 billion 468 million rubles, of which 2 billion 312 million were allocated for activities related to the prevention and elimination of the consequences of the spread of coronavirus infection,” Igor Artamonov emphasized. p>

In addition, more than 75 million rubles were allocated to boarding schools, technical schools, colleges. Also, an additional 56.4 million rubles were allocated to provide housing for young families.

Funds are also provided for increasing the salaries of educators in social institutions, coaches of regional sports schools of the Olympic reserve. In addition, 11 million rubles are allocated to support sports clubs and the development of children and youth sports.

18.5 million rubles were allocated to strengthen the material and technical base of social protection institutions and employment centers. In addition, 21.7 million rubles were allocated for repairs, the purchase of transport and equipment in state cultural institutions.

By decision of the Russian government, the region was allocated 30 million rubles for the creation of model libraries in three districts. The regional budget in 2021 will amount to 82 billion 695 million rubles.
