Deputy Prime Minister Golikova: the situation with COVID-19 has worsened over the past week in 5 regions
The situation with the spread of COVID-19 has worsened last week in five regions of the country. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova, reports on Friday, November 12, TASS.
She clarified that these include the Amur, Irkutsk, Novosibirsk, Ryazan and Tomsk regions.
“On the heat map of the stopkoronavirus.rf portal, they have moved from the orange to the red zone,” the Deputy Prime Minister noted. Kalmykia and Tuva, the color of which on the heat map changed from red to orange.
Earlier on November 12, it was reported that 40 123 new cases of coronavirus were detected in Russia over the past day. The total number of infections in the country since the beginning of the pandemic was 8,992,595.
Most of the new cases of COVID-19 were detected in Moscow (5183), St. Petersburg (3421) and in the Moscow region (2726). Least of all – in Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (18 cases), Nenets Autonomous Okrug (18 cases) and Magadan Oblast (37 cases).
