German Foreign Ministry: negotiations are underway with Russia on the influx of refugees on the Polish-Belarusian border

Sasse said at a briefing on November 12 that Berlin is in dialogue with Moscow on the migration crisis. Earlier it became known that German Chancellor Angela Merkel, in a telephone conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin, announced the involvement of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko in the migration crisis.
During the same conversation, Putin asked Merkel and the EU to restore communication with Minsk for the sake of solving the problem with migrants. At the same time, politicians recognized that the crisis should be resolved in such a way as not to harm innocent people.
