In the Ivanovo region at the exhibition of participants of the competition named after L.K. Nevinsky will present a new art object “Noah's Ark 2021 Pandemic. Metamorphoses “. This is reported by the IvanovoNews portal.
The installation, which represents the image of time in a constantly running clock and the image of people in animal masks, will appear in the Shuya Museum of History, Art and Memorial Museum named after M.V. Frunze. The expert jury of the competition will select the best authors in three nominations: “For the reflection of Shuya motives in realistic art”, “For a non-standard approach to creating an artistic image”, “For the best creative debut.”
It is known that this year 153 works of 73 authors from different cities of Russia were submitted for the competition.
The guests of the exhibition will also be able to appreciate the works of decorative and applied art that are in the museum out of competition: woodcarving, small plastic made from natural materials.
Earlier in November, an art object “Time” was installed in Crimea – an installation on the theme of the transience of time, dedicated to the coronavirus pandemic. The memorial, built in memory of the victims of the pandemic, was opened at the site of the Tavrida art cluster, located in the Kapsel bay in the southeast of Crimea.
