Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee Chepa: Russia's interference in the migration crisis is not observed
At the moment, there is no Russian interference in the migration crisis on the border of Belarus and Poland. Such a comment was made by the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs Aleksey Chepa in an interview with Izvestia.
He suggested that the Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko was aggravating the situation. “The situation that is developing on the Belarusian-Polish border can really complicate relations between European countries and Belarus,” Chepa stressed.
It is dangerous that there may be provocations at the border, and members of IS may turn out to be among the migrants ( Islamic State, a terrorist organization, is banned in Russia ), Chepa noted. In this regard, the Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs called on to monitor the entire situation carefully and carefully.
On November 8, a group of illegal migrants from the Middle East gathered at the border of Belarus and Poland and tried to overcome the obstacles. According to the Polish government, the number of refugees reached three to four thousand citizens. In Warsaw, they said that the camp of illegal immigrants is guarded by Belarusian security forces.
