Rockstar will present a remaster of GTA IV
Rockstar Studios has begun work on the release of a new version of GTA IV. This was announced on Twitter by an insider under the nickname RalphsValve.
The creators of the Grand Theft Auto series are preparing the release of GTA IV, released in 2008. A remaster of the popular title will be presented in 2023. The author noted that the disclosed release will receive improved graphics, while the gameplay and plot of the game will remain unchanged. RalphsValve also believes that two add-ons will be released along with the updated version.
GTA IV will be released on computers, PS4 and PS5 consoles, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S. The company is also considering other options: for example, to release a release on the Nintendo Switch console and smartphones. In addition, the future game will remain without multiplayer – only a single player campaign will be available in it.
RalphsValve noted that he received information from a trusted source, but does not specialize in leaks about GTA games.
Previously, Rockstar announced the release of GTA: The Trilogy – The Definitive Edition, which includes the classic games GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas. The release of the updated versions will take place on November 11.
