Matvienko does not rule out that new measures will be taken in Russia due to the difficult situation with COVID-19
It is possible that in Russia at the federal level, they will take new measures and tighten restrictions due to the difficult situation with the coronavirus. This was stated by the chairman of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko, RIA Novosti reports.
She also said that in a number of regions of the country it is possible to introduce more stringent measures on certain categories of the population.
In Russia in recent years day, 38,058 new cases of coronavirus were detected, this is at least since October 27. Thus, the total number of infections in the country since the beginning of the pandemic was 8 911 713.
Most infections were recorded in Moscow (3927), St. Petersburg (2942) and in the Moscow region (2649). Least of all – in the Nenets Autonomous Okrug (16 cases), Chukotka Autonomous Okrug (18 cases) and Magadan Oblast (35 cases).
