People without COVID-19 vaccination were allowed to be suspended from work in St. Petersburg

Employees of enterprises and organizations of St. vaccinated against COVID-19 and have no medical contraindications, they were allowed to be suspended from work without pay. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the city administration.

If this requirement is not met, the employer may be brought to administrative responsibility. The press service recalled that the chief sanitary doctor of the city has established a list of areas whose workers need to be vaccinated against COVID-19.

This requirement applies to people who have a large number of social contacts by virtue of their profession, state and municipal employees. According to the decree, at least 80 percent of employees are subject to mandatory vaccination.
