In Belarus, drinking water and an ambulance were organized for refugees in the border zone
with a supply of drinking water for refugees from the Middle East and Africa, local doctors organized a round-the-clock ambulance service. The situation in the camp is reported by the Belarus 1 TV channel.
Residents of the republic bring warm clothes and heating equipment to refugees. In the camp, they managed to set up tents and kindle fires. After several cases of fainting among refugees, a Belarusian ambulance is on duty nearby.
Help allows migrants to stay in place. Meteorologists promise a few more days of relatively warm weather, but next week in the Grodno region the temperature will be below zero at night.
“These children will die. We can't hold out here for two more days. Even one day, “one of the migrants, who knows a little Russian, told the TV channel.
The migration crisis on the border between Poland and Belarus has been going on since November 8. There are already 3,000 people in the refugee camp, most of them have no money for their return trip. Migrants are waiting to be taken to Germany or open the way there. The German parliament, meanwhile, offered to temporarily accommodate guests from the Middle East in Ukraine.
