In the Iskitimsky district of the Novosibirsk region, a long-term off-road race took place forests, fields, swamps, slopes and bumps. This was reported by “Vesti Novosibirsk”.
Participants from all over the Siberian Federal District covered about fifty kilometers by off-road vehicles – according to the conditions of the competition, in a limited time you need to get there and take a photo near all checkpoints. At the same time, as the athletes said, if a car gets stuck or breaks down in a hard-to-reach place, you can wait for help for several hours until the race is over.
“Overcoming difficulties is interesting. It's like a drug: if you once got here, that's all – you get sick with it, you won't get out of here again, ”one of the participants shared his emotions.
It is noted that the route in the Iskitim district is not the most difficult to pass, however complicate frosts, since many cars do not have stoves.
Earlier in September, the first high-altitude road cycling race “Baksan – Elbrus” ended in Kabardino-Balkaria. The participants finished at the foot of Elburz and covered 100 kilometers of the road. The victory was won by an athlete from Sevastopol Fedor Dayasov, who covered the entire distance in two hours and 52 minutes.
